"It is through diving in, opening my experiences to others, and listening as they share theirs with me I’ve become a better artist and a better person.

It is my hope with Impact to create a community where that happens for everyone."

- Laura Henry Kuper (Founder and Artistic Director)

Founded by Artistic Director, Laura Henry Kuper in 2015 the company focuses on building work and opportunities that allow artists to share their voices from an honest, truthful, human perspective.

Over the past three years, Impact Movement Collective has produced and presented over 15 works in festivals as well as in self-produced seasons, and provided performance and shared bill opportunities for over 20 artists throughout NYC. The company has shown their diverse work at venues such as the Hudson Guild Theater, Dixon Place, St. Mark's Church, Jamaica Performing Arts Center, Chen Dance Center, Harlem Repertory Theater, The Secret Theater and the Mark O'Donell Theater at the Actors Fund Arts Center.

Furthering it's goal of building community and raising awareness, Impact hosts their signature bi-monthly artist opportunity, "The Open Floor" at Arts on Site, and produces benefit concerts, which have helped provide scholarships to over 16 girls in underprivileged countries.
